Softimage 3d 4.0
Kudos for finally standing up for you word! The 4.0 release announcement shows the simple fact that clear communication and a date certain, works way better than no communication at all. Pixo's future may eventually depend on a strong and contented Apple user base. It's about time that Mac is taken seriously by a company like Pixo. The fact that Microsoft is now worth way less than Apple probably had little to do with this, but bodes well for future upgrades. This release fixes the long standing seeming disrespect to the Mac user base (unintentional, I'm certain). I'm looking forward to see how Zbrush 4.0 evolve. Is not about making a roller-coaster trick to obtain the result we want, is about give us the tools to make the magic happens, at a great speed. This is not a subject that it's been discussed today, it's something that's been around since old versions, the question is why Pixologic has done anything to give as a real answer about this. Just because Maya or Max is more mention around, that doesn't mean all the people use those tools in their main pipeline. I think a multi-platform program could be better than give just everything to a few selected people. I don't think that's an impediment to reach every user out there.

Why people is demanding XSI support for Goz?, i think that's simple is not about a single click and voilá, it's about give the user the most efficient tools to make the work fast and efficient that's what a program like Zbrush provide to other mayor tools, but why XSI, Lightwave and others are left out from the equation? Marketing purposes? Coding troubles?
